Definition of Services
To provide SAP SRM/SAP MM Functional services for SRM, MM implementation project
Skillset requirements for the role of Principal Consultant SAP SRM:
Candidate must have SAP SRM 7.0 hands on experience in implementation, rollouts and upgrade projects. Candidate should have good understanding of SRM technical and business scenarios, functionality and business processes and how they align with the procurement organization. Candidate should be familiar with integration of SAP SRM and SAP ECC environments. Implementation of SRM Sourcing, Contract Management and SAP MM hands-on knowledge are very much preferred. Experience in integrating SAP SRM application with multiple Back End system (both SAP and Non-SAP application). Experience in implementing SAP SRM Fiori apps. Experience or knowledge about automotive industry would be an added advantage.
Scope of Services for Principal Consultant SAP SRM:
Extensive knowledge of SAP SRM 7.0 and New UI add-on as well as a strong understanding of the interfaces between SRM and third party systems.
Knowledge and hands-on skills on SRM Central Contract Management.
Experience of integrating SAP SRM Contract Management with 3rd party Contract Management applications.
Knowledge and hands-on skills on SRM Sourcing module preferred.
Knowledge and hands-on skills on customizing tasks in ERP system – MM settings.
Knowledge about BADI implementation and guide the ABAP developers on the same.
Responsible for successful delivery of SAP SRM module deliverables on as part of implementation.
Preparation of Configuration document, Unit Test & Integration Test Scripts, User Manuals.
Configure the system as per the client’s requirements and handle custom development with the help of ABAP developers.
Carry out the Unit & Integration testing & record the results in respective Test.
Assist the super users in executing UAT.
Preparation of project charter, project plan and functional Specifications.
Fair knowledge about the change management processes (stake holder management, impact assessment management and communication)
Deliverables
The deliverables would be clearly identified and mutually agreed at the beginning of each phase.
The typical deliverables that would be created are as below:
Drive the requirement gathering sessions with the client.
Creation project charter and project plan.
Configuring the system.
Creation of Process design documents.
Creation of Functional Specification documents as per business needs for RICEFW development and functional testing and certification of such development.
Test planning for integration testing, system testing and UAT including defect resolution.
Conduct UAT with business users.
Data migration, cutover documents, configuration documents.
Creation of any training material with functional information during training to support, handover or transition or end user training.
Carry Cutover, go live and post go live support.
Experience level for Principal Consultant SAP SRM:
12+ years’ experience and ability to understand integration of SRM to other modules like SAP MM, Fiori, External Partner systems etc.
